“I found myself in desperate need of life-saving surgery. I had no idea where to turn when I was referred to APA. I’ve always worked and I was taught at an early age to give back. I had no health insurance when I was referred to APA for surgery. I feel like I was gifted an extension of life through all the great and honorable care that delivered me from an uncertain end. I can’t say enough about how blessed I am to have received this gift.” APA’s donating surgeon improved Teresa’s health which allowed her to return to work. APA assisted her to enroll in affordable health insurance the following year.

Revolutions 2025 will be a virtual competition to raise funds, and earn bragging rights!
The virtual event will allow participants to compete in friendly competition virtually. Participants can sign up through the link below. In a few simple steps, participants will create a team, set their fundraising goal, and invite people to join their team. You can email, call, text, and post on social media to raise funds for Anchorage Project Access by doing fun activities anytime, anywhere.
Several companies in our community want to help with the cause! They have donated services, certificates, and gift items! Every person who participates, regardless of when you signed up, will be entered to win every day! Every day from January 20th through February 3rd we will draw a name to receive a door prize.
APA is Alaska’s only healthcare safety net of its kind. Your participation helps us to continue providing patients with life-saving donated cancer treatment, orthopedic surgeries, cardiac care, dental surgeries, mental health care, radiology scans, physical therapy, and dental care to name a few of the 42 specialties donated through APA. We do not charge any patient for the coordination of their donated care. Your sponsorship is essential in ensuring our patients receive the health care they need from over 780 local donating providers. Your support provides care coordination, medication assistance, transportation, interpreter services, and access to community resources.
