This is NOT insurance or a government entitlement program. This program is for specialized medical care only and does not include hospital services, anesthesia, lab services, emergency department visits, ambulance services, durable medical equipment, or vision hardware costs. Dental Program:
Through the Anchorage Project Access Dental Program, local dentists and labs donate their time and skills to patients with a current dental need who meet APA income and eligibility guidelines. Patients receiving care through the APA Dental Program “pay it forward” by completing volunteer community service hours.
This is NOT insurance or a government entitlement program. This program does not typically cover prescriptions, crowns, posterior root canals, bridges, dentures, partials, or implants. This program is for preventative, emergency, and basic dental needs, including pain and infection, and covers the following:
● Restorative fillings and build ups
● Routine extraction including exposed root tips
● Surgical extractions (impacted teeth or otherwise difficult)
● Acrylic Anterior only partials (labs will be donated)
● Anterior endo (must be restorable with a large composite)
● Exams, x-rays, cleanings
● Dental hygiene and oral health education
● Labs (only specific labs are donated)
NOTE: Initial exam and x-ray services received at ANHC will require a fee of $125; APA pays $100 and the patient is responsible for $25 co-pay.
mental health counseling Program:
